Wildlife Conservation

Within the next 15 to 30 years, many of our beloved wildlife animals – lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, rhinos will become extinct due to poaching, habitat loss, and human interference.  Here are some facts:

– The lions in Africa is currently estimated at about 34,000 animals, down by at least 50 percent from three decades ago.

– The world’s fastest land mammal, cheetah, and the big cats, which are already few in number, may decline by an additional 53 percent over the next 15 years.

– Fewer than 670 Rothchild’s giraffes remain in the wild today

– The population of elephants in the 1980s was around 1 million, with around 70,000 being killed a year. The total African elephant population is now less than 470,000.

– There were 500,000 rhinos across Africa and Asia at the beginning of the 20th century.  Today, there are only 29,000 rhinos left in the wild.

If we don’t do something NOW, the next few generations will never be able to enjoy these beautiful animals who share the planet earth with us.  We hope that through our blog site and print shop, we can cultivate the awareness of conservation and preservation of these amazing animal species.

“By 2020, the number of wild animals living on this planet earth is set to fall by two-thirds, part of a mass extinction that is destroying the natural world upon which humanity depends.”
