If you are heading to the Chianti region in Tuscany, Italy, you may want to consider staying at this 17th century Villa Nozzole for your vacation. It was recently restored and the 9 bedrooms were completely renovated back in 2011. This beautiful villa is located about 19 miles (30 km), 45 minutes south of Florence. Our family of 21 stayed there for a week last summer and it was fabulous.
When we drove up the hill, we passed by the working winery and was greeted by this sign and the tall cypress trees:
The villa is surrounded by lush gardens with lots of trees and lovely florals!
Here is the open courtyard that leads from the villa to the swimming pool and lawn area:
We love the blush pink color of the villa and all these ornate doors!
This gorgeous terrace overlooks the swimming pool on the left and the rolling hills of vineyards straight ahead. The view is absolutely breathtaking!
This is the swimming pool just steps away from the villa.
A lovely terrace in one of the 9 bedrooms:
The foyer of the villa as we enter and those glass doors open out to the courtyard!
This is the formal living room with stairs leading up to one of the bedrooms. It’s very peaceful to sit here and read a book!
This is another living room with a TV on the right side of the photo:
The formal dining room has lovely pink drapes and a beautiful chandelier and fireplace/sitting area. This dining table fits all 21 of us every morning for breakfast and every night for dinner!
