The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay is a beautiful oceanfront resort perched atop a rugged bluff here in Northern California. It is about 30+ miles (52 km) from the city of San Francisco. It completed its renovation in March 2015 and now the resort has more of a relaxed feel with “gray meets blue” tones throughout the lobby and guest rooms. Many years ago, Darren took me there for afternoon tea and it was fabulous. Since then, we have photographed an engagement session and a wedding at this resort.
