andBeyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp was right next to Bateleur Camp where we stayed at. It was a much larger camp (with 40 tents total plus 3 family suites) but just as beautiful. One day, Darren and I decided to take a short walk over to check it out!
The staff was right at the entrance welcoming their guests. I love how they used a lot of drapery and light wood throughout the camp.
These hanging chairs in the lobby were so comfortable…
This camp has much larger grounds than Bataleur Camp:
Absolutely love their open kitchen concept (and draperies):
And how cool was it that they have their own herb and vegetable garden…
Some very interesting artwork on their lobby walls:
A thirsty warthog decided to get some water from the swimming pool:
There were a few different tent options at Kichwa Tembo – 12 classic tents, 20 superior tents and 8 superior view tents and 3 family suites on property.
One of the lovely staff was sweet enough to show us a few different tents available:
For the family tents, they have a connecting corridor and stairs between the parent’s tent and the children’s tent:
Love the double sinks in the bathroom:
How great was this outdoor balcony with a gorgeous view? I could sit here all day!
